Technical Communications..........

Backstory:

I'm taking a technical communications course online through UH, and our quizzes are normally due at 11:59PM every Thursday, as stated in the course policies and the "weekly assignments" page the professor posts on the homepage every week.

One quiz was accidentally set for 12:10AM on the Thursday it was due, causing a few students (myself included) to miss the quiz. It was obviously a mistake made when the quiz was setup in the Blackboard system, but students began mass emailing each other through the Blackboard system asking "OMG WHAT'S UP", "OMG I MISSED IT TOO", "QUIZ 5 WTF" in an attempt to figure out what was going on.

I'm sure the professor just has not checked the Blackboard system or their email in a few days and will rectify the issue as soon as they have a chance.

Even though there were quite a few emails (around 30) sent around by students in the course, one caught my eye in particular:

| I don't want to be a kill-joy, but those quizzes are open for several days. Clearly, many of you missed the one, others were more responsible and planned accordingly. Moreover, in the big scheme of things, the quizzes account for 50 points out of 500, so this was the difference of 2 points on a 100 point scale. If you're struggling, effort would be better spent on the writing assignments. As a side note, it's very poor etiquette not only to send all, but then continue to 'Reply All.' Please resist the habit.

Speechless. I cannot believe someone would send that to 100 of their peers.

I'm still trying to think of the perfect response to "reply all" with.

Testing Google Buzz's site connectors. I am awesome.
